What Nano Polished Tiles Give You
A nano polished surface is polished and then treated so the microscopic pores in the face are filled. The result is a tighter, glossier surface than a plain polished tile: it reflects more light, it resists staining better, and it wipes clean more easily.
That reflection is why nano polished tiles end up in living rooms, dining areas and showrooms. In an open-plan home the floor is a large part of what you see, and a bright floor makes the whole space feel more airy before you add a single piece of furniture.
The shine will not read the same in every home. One room can look glossy and another more toned down, purely because of the lighting. Wall colour, window position and even your bulbs change how the surface reads, which is why a single photo tells you very little.

Where It Works, and Where It Does Not
Dry indoor floors are the use case: living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, showrooms and offices.
Not wet floors. A polished surface with soap and water on it is slippery, so bathrooms, yards and car porches want a matt or textured tile instead. Our homogeneous tiles cover that in matt and textured finishes.
Gloss shows everything. Scratches, dust and footprints are all more visible on a reflective surface than on a matt one. It is a beautiful floor that asks for more wiping, and that is a fair trade only if you know it going in.
Larger formats suit nano polished tiles best, because fewer grout lines mean a more continuous reflection. They are also less forgiving of an uneven screed, so level the substrate properly first.
Buy the whole job in one batch and keep spares. Shade varies between production runs, and the tiles adhesive and grout should be chosen at the same time.

What are nano polished tiles?

Are nano polished tiles slippery?
Wet, yes. A high-gloss surface with water or soap on it offers very little grip, which is why these belong on dry indoor floors and not in bathrooms, kitchens with wet floors, yards or car porches.
How do you clean nano polished tiles and keep the shine?
Warm water and a neutral pH cleaner, then dry off. Standing water dries into a film that dulls the surface, so wring the mop out properly. Never use abrasive powders or steel wool: a scratched gloss cannot be polished back.
Does vinegar damage a polished tile floor?
Vinegar will not usually harm the tile face, but repeated use attacks cement-based grout and any stone trim beside it. Use a neutral cleaner for routine mopping and keep vinegar for the occasional stubborn mark.
